Mohanlal – Prithviraj movie ‘Lucifer’ to start rolling from July

Prithviraj is all set to start the works of his ambitious directorial debut ‘Lucifer’. The movie will see Mohanlal appearing in the central role and the story for it, is been penned by Murali Gopy. Social media corners are abuzz with the discussions on ‘Lucifer’, ever since the day it got announced. While the movie has already entered the pre-production stage, it is not known when the movie would start rolling. Well, it is now learnt that ‘Lucifer’ would enter the production phase, by the month of July. Prithviraj right now, is busy with the shooting of sci-fi movie ‘9’. He is expected to begin the works of ‘Lucifer’, soon after completing the production of ‘9’. According to the reports, Prithviraj has given a total of 45 days for the Jenuse Mohammed movie.

Apart from the names of some people associated with it, nothing much is known about ‘Lucifer’. While makers have kept mum regarding the genre and mood of the movie, Prithviraj, however, has mentioned that the movie has got a gripping story. He raised the bar of expectations, when he said that the movie demands great performances from the actors. Murali Gopy too, in the past, has assured that ‘Lucifer’ would be a mass action entertainer. In the meantime, there are reports that a noted youngster has been roped in by the makers of ‘Lucifer’ for an important role. Though many names, including those of Indrajith and Tovino is constantly heard along with the project, makers haven’t responded to the queries. Well, it is believed that Prithviraj himself, would be making his presence felt before the camera. Under the banner of ‘Aashirvad Cinemas’, Antony Perumbavoor will produce ‘Lucifer’.

With doubts clouding over the key details of ‘Lucifer’, the expectation level is climbing up to new heights. Mohanlal, since has wrapped up the shooting of ‘Neerali’ and ‘Odiyan’, is expected to join the shooting set of Ranjith directing ‘Bilathi Katha’. The shooting of the movie is reportedly going to take place in England, for which the actor is expected to join in the coming months.
